Report Style - Special Field
Before reading this section, please read the Reports section. Special Field can be used for adding the following fields to the report:
- Page X of Y - returns the number of the report page and the total
number of pages.
- Page - returns the page number.
- Number of Pages - returns
the total number of pages in the report.
- Date and Time - returns the current date and time.
- Date - returns the current date.
- Time - returns the current time.
- Number of Records - returns the general number of database software records printed in the report. To return the number of database software records in the group, use formula subRecN (to learn more, see the Grouping section).
- Absolute Record Number -
returns the number of the database software record in the whole report.
- Record Number on Page -
returns the sequence number of the database software record on the page.
- Number of Records on Page - returns the number of database software records on the
page.
- Number of First Record on Page - returns the number of the first
database software record on the page.
- Number of Last Record on Page - returns the number
of the last database software record on the page.
- Text Formula - allows adding a text formula to the report (for example, to return the values of the variables). To learn more, see the Using Text Formulas section.
- User Input - that means that the field value may be altered right before printing without necessity to open Area Editor (position 3 on the Print Preview... screenshot).
- AREA CODE - reserved.
